I am honoured to act as patron to the Chatsworth Players who are providing a wonderful creative outlet for local people, and entertainment for guests in our Theatre.”

The Chatsworth Players are a mix of local amateurs and former professionals who come together a few times a year to entertain people in the gorgeous setting of Chatsworth House. We could not do that without the help and support of our local community. Businesses and individuals contribute financially and in-kind to help make our productions a success - and we are very grateful for their support. You can read a bit more about our friends below. Joan was introduced to the Players by the Dowager Duchess of Devonshire, who told her how wonderful we were and how she would love us! Joan's been our number one supporter ever since, lending us furniture and props, promoting our work, and being an ever present cheer leader.

GCM provide specialist security services for the outside broadcasting sector. They help to bring many of our favourite live sporting and cultural events to our television screens. They work for Sky, BBC and ITV amongst others to bring us the football Premiership, Badminton Horse Trials, Live at the Apollo, horseracing…….
